Logidoo, the pan-African logistics platform, announced its pivot toward groupage services as the core of its business model.

This is a move that could reform how African businesses and consumers participate in global commerce by making international shipping more affordable and accessible.

Groupage—the practice of combining multiple smaller shipments into a single container—now stands at the center of Logidoo’s operations across eight African countries.

Through this approach, the company offers weekly departures from international markets, including France, the UAE, and China, delivering goods to destinations throughout Africa at costs significantly lower than the usual shipping methods.

“Our commitment to groupage reflects our understanding of Africa’s unique commercial landscape,” said Tamsir Ousmane Traore, CEO at Logidoo.

“When small businesses and individual entrepreneurs can import goods without paying for entire containers, we see remarkable economic ripple effects in local communities.”

By tackling one of the most persistent challenges facing African commerce – prohibitive shipping costs for small-volume imports – Logidoo is giving market traders, online retailers, and small businesses previously excluded from global sourcing due to minimum order requirements can now access suppliers worldwide.

For vendors and entrepreneurs across Africa, this shift represents a meaningful opportunity to participate in international trade regardless of their size or capital reserves. By sharing container space, small and medium enterprises can now source products globally while maintaining competitive pricing in their local markets.

The company’s footprint spans more than eight countries, including Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Tunisia, Benin, and Cameroon, with in Dakar, Abidjan, Tunis, and Paris.

This extensive network enables Logidoo to provide culturally-informed, regionally specific logistics solutions with consistent service standards across borders.

Customers can request quotes, book shipments, and monitor deliveries through Logidoo’s digital platform while accessing support via WhatsApp, the company website, or in-person at physical locations.

This balanced approach combines the efficiency of modern technology with the personal attention that complex international shipping often requires.

“We understand that technology alone cannot solve the challenges of African logistics,” Tamsir Ousmane Traore adds.

“Our approach pairs digital tools with human expertise to ensure customers receive both convenience and personalised guidance.”

As cross-border commerce continues to grow throughout the continent, Logidoo’s emphasis on accessible groupage services positions the company to lead the continent’s expanding commercial ecosystem.
