There has been so much controversy following the death of Cameroon’s 2018 Presidential candidate Prophet Frankline Ndifor Afanwi. The Douala-based popular man of God and Politician, was confirmed dead on May 16 and laid to rest at the Douala cemetery.

The founder of the Kingship International Ministries, 39, famously called Prophet Frank died on Saturday May 16, 2020 at his Bonaberi residence in the Douala 4 subdivision.

It was a dramatic scene Saturday afternoon, when security and medical personnel descended at the deceased residence and were confronted by the family members and adherents who refuted his death associated with the pandemic.
News Upfront gathered that the man of God died of COVID-19: this has however been debunked by his family, and his ministry, insisting the prophet was poisoned while on a Yaoundé trip.
The controversy ensued when the family denied his death, refusing access into the family house to all, including security forces who had gathered at his residence.
