The population in Buea, Southwest region of Cameroon, are in shock after the lifeless body of a lady was discovered in a school hostel.

Circumstances leading to the death of 21-year-old girl identified as Lizitte, remains unclear as she was found with her hands tied behind.

According to unconfirmed reports, Lizette had been involved in a double love relationship. “She was dating two guys…one abroad and one here in Cameroon…so they use to function in her friends cite…so when the guy found out that she has anoda man abroad, the guy killed her and tied her up in the room and disappeared,” a source said.

News Upfront also learned from the source in Buea, that “she was in that room for 5 days…until yesterday dat they discovered her body.”

The advanced decomposing corpse was later buried in Molyko, a neighborhood in Buea.
Meantime, Investigation to ascertain the cause of her death are said to have been opened by the Town’s forces of Law and order.

According to information News Upfront could not independently confirm, the suspected murderer was arrested same day.

News Blogger, Mimi Mefo, says Lizette hails from Lekong Forkem, in Fontem, Southwest region.

It should be recalled that, a similar murder case was reported in Buea 3 years ago, June 2017.
The then victim, 24-year-old Adele, Linguistic students from the University of Buea, was found dead in a state of decomposition, days of her disappearance.
The suspected murderous boyfriend, was arrested by the police 2days after.
