Nguti subdivision in Kupe Muanenguba Division, South West Region, has once again pledged its unwavering loyalty to President Paul Biya as campaigns for the October 12 presidential poll reach fever pitch.
At a mega CPDM rally on Saturday, October 4, the General Manager of the Hydrocarbon Prices Stabilization Fund (CSPH), Okie Johnson Ndoh, led thousands in declaring full support for the ruling party’s candidate and long-serving Head of State.
“Nguti has been preparing long before the official campaign kickoff,” Okie told cheering crowds.
“We laid the groundwork months ago through sports and community projects across all 12 clans. Now, we’re consolidating for a landslide victory.”
Okie Johnson, who heads the Nguti Communal Campaign Team, said the rally was a continuation of months of mobilization efforts.
Door-to-door campaigns, he added, are ongoing across all 54 villages of the subdivision to ensure every one of Nguti’s 10,000 votes goes to President Biya.
“The foundation has already been laid. Our clan heads are continuing the door-to-door campaign to grab all the votes for our champion, President Paul Biya,” Okie said.
Reassurance from party leaders
The CPDM Section President for Kupe Muanenguba II, Ajang Evaristus, described the ceremony as a moment of reassurance that Biya remains the choice of the people.
“Nguti has spoken. Kupe Muanenguba is firmly behind President Biya,” he affirmed.
Meanwhile, the head of the CPDM campaign team for Kupe Muanenguba, Prof. Elvis Ngolle Ngolle, told the crowd that development gains under Biya’s leadership are visible across the region.
“There are 10,000 votes at stake in Nguti Subdivision, and those votes are for our champion,” he said confidently.
“Many projects have come to Nguti, and more are still to come. Biya’s victory here is assured.”
A show of force and loyalty
The Nguti rally drew thousands of CPDM supporters in a festive atmosphere filled with music, color, and chants of loyalty to the President.
Party officials emphasized that while the CPDM already enjoys strong grassroots support in Kupe Muanenguba and the South West Region, the rally served as a symbolic reaffirmation of commitment ahead of the decisive October 12 poll.
As enthusiasm continues to build, Nguti’s message is unmistakable:
October 12 is a plebiscite for Paul Biya.
