Story, Louvier Kindo Tombe

As Cameroon inches closer to the October 12, 2025 presidential election, the Bui Divisional Campaign Commission has wrapped up its activities with a powerful closing message that resonated across the hills and valleys of the Division, one of hope, healing, and renewed commitment to President Paul Biya’s vision of “Greatness and Hope.”

Delivering the final campaign word, the President of the Bui Campaign Commission, Fai Yengo Francis, said the people of Bui have shown resilience, unity, and an unwavering belief in the nation’s future despite the scars of conflict.

“We have been bruised by conflict. Families have been scattered. Businesses closed. Dreams delayed. But the spirit of Bui has never been broken,” he declared, urging citizens to translate that strength into a decisive vote for Biya.

From Jakiri to Kumbo, from Oku to Nkum, Mbiame to Noni, the campaign trail in Bui has been described as one of Renewal, a movement of people ready to “rise again and win again.”

The speech underscored that the campaign goes beyond politics.

“This campaign is not only about votes. It is about vision. It is about renewal,” he stressed, calling on voters to see Biya’s campaign as a promise of reconstruction and national rebirth.

The theme “Greatness and Hope,” he said, reflects Biya’s commitment to stability, infrastructure, and inclusive growth.

He reminded the population that “broken bridges will be rebuilt, classrooms reopened, and markets busy again.”

A call to believe again

To the youth, women, and traditional leaders, the campaign president delivered tailored messages:

“To the youth of Bui, your energy is not wasted — it is wanted. To the women, you are the pillars of peace and guardians of our future. To the chiefs, teachers, farmers, and traders — your participation is your power.”

He urged citizens to “vote not just with their ballots, but with their voices and will to move forward.”

In a strong appeal for peace, Fai Yengo Francis warned against divisive rhetoric and false promises:

“Those who claim to fight for us by dividing us are not liberators, they are thieves of our future.”

He described Biya’s leadership as one rooted in unity and renewal, not in resentment or nostalgia.

“His campaign is not about the past, it is about tomorrow,” he said, adding that Biya offers “a future anchored in stability, renewal, and inclusive growth.”

Vote for peace, vote for hope, vote for Paul Biya

The closing words carried the emotion of a region ready to turn the page:

“Vote for peace. Vote for renewal. Vote for hope. Vote for Paul Biya.
And may this vote mark not only the closing of a campaign, but the opening of a new chapter in Bui’s destiny.”
