Queen mothers of the North West region of Cameroon, (Mafors) have once more denounced the gruesome killing of their children by belligerents in the ongoing crisis rocking the North West and South West regions.

In the presence of the Fon of Bawock, the “Mafors” under the auspices of Mafor Yah Sunday Epse Achidi, mourned, prayed and lamented together.

They gathered Thursday December 24, 2020 at the main Grand stand in Bamenda to express concern and preach peace.

With placards and peace plants the Mafors chanted songs of worship and praise to the Most High and implored His mercy on the two regions.

On the placards, one could read messages like, Stop The Killings, We Need Pens not Guns, We are Tired of Mourning, We Want Peace… etc.

The event that brought together over a thousand women and queen mothers culminated in a peace walk on the commercial avenue and the delivery of a statement from the Mafors.

Focus of the declaration was on the need to put an end to the crisis in the NW and SW Regions so that NEVER AGAIN should exactions be committed on the peaceful population of the regions.

It is not the first time the queen mothers of the region are coming out to denounce the attrocities and exactions of the crisis in the two English speaking regions.

Recently, they invited their children in the bushes to down their arms and join the DDR Centres for proper protection and a possible reintegration into the society.

Mafor Judith Yah Sunday Epse Achidi did not forget that it was Christmas period.

As a real mother, she stopped at the Bamenda 2 D.O’s office where she offered a consignment of foodstuff and vital basic necessities to IDPs with special needs.
