Story, Louvier Kindo Tombe

In recent days, online rumors claimed that the National Drug Control and Toxicology Laboratory (LANACOME) had declared Baume François unfit for human use. Addressing journalists, the management of François Santé Sarl, led by its promoter, Dr. François Désiré Ekouma Ananga, formally refuted these claims, describing them as a baseless smear campaign intended to destabilize the company and mislead consumers.

No Notification from Regulatory Authorities

The central pillar of the company’s disclaimer lies in official regulatory communication: François Santé Sarl has received no statement, warning, or official notification from LANACOME questioning the safety or quality of Baume François.

The promoter of François Santé Sarl emphasized that the social media claims do not rest on any verified facts or regulatory findings.

Adding weight to the occasion, Christophe Mvondo, Communication Officer at LANACOME, attended the briefing as an invited guest, further highlighting the ongoing professional relationship between the company and the national quality control laboratory.

“These accusations do not rest on a single factual basis,” stated the promoter of François Santé Sarl during the press briefing. “Their sole motive is to discredit our brand and destabilize a local business committed to community wellness. To date, no regulatory body, including LANACOME, has notified us of any defect or health concern regarding Baume François.”

Sustained Collaboration for Quality Assurance

Far from being at odds with regulatory standards, François Santé Sarl outlined a history of continuous collaboration with LANACOME to maintain high product standards. Key milestones in their quality assurance drive include:

– Production Oversight & Staff Training: In August 2025, LANACOME actively monitored the company’s production processes and conducted technical training for François Santé Sarl personnel, resulting in significant operational improvements.
- Traceability & Documentation: The company has instituted formal health system documentation and end-to-end product traceability across its supply chain.
- Ongoing Infrastructure Development: François Santé Sarl is currently undergoing internal audits and infrastructure upgrades to continuously align with national health standards.

Prioritizing Quality Over Quantity

Addressing the press, Dr. François Désiré Ekouma Ananga reaffirmed that consumer safety remains the company’s non-negotiable priority. Rather than chasing high production volumes, François Santé Sarl remains dedicated to quality-driven manufacturing, welcoming constructive feedback and remaining open to correcting any operational shortcomings.

As the company takes steps to protect its brand against online disinformation, it reassures its consumers across Cameroon that Baume François remains manufactured under strict quality standards, with an unwavering commitment to public health and transparency.
