The Cameroon Customs Administration is taking bold steps to combat corruption, recognizing the risks it poses to trust and public opinion.
Corruption can create social tensions, increase the risk of fragility, conflict, and violence, and hinder business competitiveness and economic development.
To tackle this issue, the administration has developed a strategy based on transparency, digitalization, and accountability.
A sensitization campaign is scheduled to take place from January 13 to 27, 2024, in Douala, Limbé, Kribi, and Yaoundé, to strengthen relationships with logistics partners and economic operators.
This initiative is part of the International Anti-Corruption Day 2024-2025, which aims to unite young people against corruption and shape the integrity of tomorrow.
The Cameroon Customs Administration is determined to play a key role in this fight and contribute to promoting a culture of transparency and integrity in the customs sector.
