The Member of Parliament for Bafut-Tubah constituency in the North West region of Cameroon, Hon. Agho Oliver Bamenju, has donated 100 roofing sheets to complete the construction of some two classrooms at CBC Primary School, Sabga.
This is good news to the Bafut-Tubah constituency in general and the Kejom Community in particular.
“We are very grateful with this gesture from a son of the soil who always thinks about the well-being of his people”, Amoh Pascal, brain behind the move expressed his satisfaction.
The gesture from Hon. Agho Oliver Bamenju is to encourage the effective resumption of schools in the Kejom community.
“The Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) Primary School Sabga in Kejom Ketinguh now counts at least 350 people and this is worth encouraging”, Hon. Agho told reporters.
The classrooms in question were recently erected to accommodate the increasing number of pupils following the 2022/2023 back to school resumption.
Education is one aspect in society that is dear to the Member of Parliament, who will stop at nothing to encourage and support pupils and students of his constituency.
It is not his first project in the Kejom community in Tubah Sub Division, and “it is not going to be the last project either,” the MP reassures the Kejom community (Kejom Ketinguh and Kejom Keku).
The Divisional Officer for Tubah, was present during the ceremony to hand over the roofing sheets to the Kejom Community.
Hon. Agho Oliver Bamenju, was in the Kejom community after visiting and donating didactic materials and financial assistance to some school children in Bafut, who are orphans.
