Ngarbuh Massacre: Gov’t Supports Families, Prepares Official Burial

Governor Adolphe Lele L'Afrique in Ngarbuh Ntumbaw, Donga Mantung Division, North West region

The governor of the North West region, Adolphe Lele L’Afrique, on February 04, 2021 on behalf of President Paul Biya, offered a sum of FCFA 80 Million to victims of the Ngarbur Massacred of February 14 2019.

Each victim received the sum of FCFA 5 Million.

The purpose of the money is to assist reconstruct the houses of the victims that were burnt down during the attack.

The population expressed gratitude to the Head of State for his action.

“we are happy because the president reacted so promptly”, said Oliver Tata, one of the beneficiaries.

The governor used the occasion to extend the Comforts of president Paul Biya, to the victims, and reassured them of their security situation.

He equally paid tributes to the deceased victims, right at their tombs.

Governor Adolphe Lele L’Afrique, again announced the official burial of these souls, and call on the population to notify the government as soon as they are set for it.

Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs also benefitted on this occasion, as they received gifts of basic necessities.
