Logidoo, Africa’s leading digital logistics platform, has unveiled a comprehensive upgrade to its platform, marking a new era for businesses in Senegal. Designed to address long-standing challenges in logistics and trade, this enhanced platform introduces innovative tools and services that promise to transform the way businesses operate, both locally and internationally.

The upgraded platform offers cutting-edge capabilities, including real-time customs simulation to help businesses better anticipate costs, advanced shipment tracking to provide complete visibility over goods in transit, and fully integrated insurance solutions that allow operations to be validated and insured seamlessly. With the digitization of essential documentation, such as invoices, declarations, and bills of lading, businesses can now eliminate time-consuming paperwork and streamline their processes.

Payment flexibility is another standout feature of the upgrade, with the inclusion of multiple payment options, such as mobile money, cash, and bank card integrations. These enhancements address the diverse needs of Senegalese businesses, making logistics processes more efficient, transparent, and reliable.

“This platform upgrade represents a critical milestone in our mission to reshape the logistics landscape for African businesses,” said Tamsir Ousmane Traore, CEO of Logidoo.

“By introducing innovative tools that simplify trade and logistics processes, we are empowering Senegalese businesses to not only overcome operational challenges but also thrive in the global market.”

As part of this transformation, Logidoo has also expanded its service offering with the introduction of Doomarket, a global sourcing tool that allows businesses to seamlessly procure goods from major international e-commerce platforms like Amazon and Alibaba. Doomarket takes the complexity out of international sourcing by managing transportation and delivery, enabling Senegalese businesses to optimize costs and focus on their core operations.

In addition, the company recently launched Afridoo, a tailored enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution designed specifically for African merchants. Afridoo provides businesses with robust tools, including warehouse and order management systems, as well as transport management solutions that ensure shipments are coordinated efficiently. The service has already recorded exceptional growth, with 123 stores onboarded during its pilot phase and a 100% increase in demand within its first week of launch.

These advancements are underpinned by Logidoo’s impressive operational milestones. To date, the platform has processed more than 120,000 international orders and is serving over 600 clients across the sub-region. The combination of advanced features, innovative services, and proven results underscores Logidoo’s commitment to enhancing logistics capabilities and driving economic growth in Senegal and beyond.

The upgrade reflects Logidoo’s understanding of the unique needs of the Senegalese market while aligning with its broader mission of empowering African businesses through technology. By leveraging this new platform, businesses in Senegal can enjoy greater efficiency, reduced costs, and unprecedented access to global trade opportunities.

“Our vision has always been to create solutions that not only address immediate logistical challenges but also lay the groundwork for long-term growth,” Traore added.

“This upgrade is just the beginning, and we remain committed to equipping African businesses with the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly competitive market.”

With the launch of this upgraded platform, Logidoo continues to cement its position as a leader in the African logistics industry, providing businesses with the tools and resources to thrive in today’s dynamic trade environment.
