His Royal Highness Fon Ju Wilson III, the Paramount Fon of Koshin, made a powerful commitment to the Kedjom Keku community at the 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Kedjom Keku Cultural and Development Association (KEKCUDA) held in Douala on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

Fon Ju Wilson III, who also serves as a senior official in the Ministry of State Property, Surveys and Land Tenure (MINDCAF), effectively acting as a land registrar in the economic capital Douala was the guest of honour at the AGM and drew widespread attention when he took the floor to address his people.

Recognised not only as a traditional leader but also a civil authority dealing with land administration in Douala, Fon Ju underscored the importance of unity, culture, and collective development.

He saluted the spirit of togetherness that defined the day’s gathering and encouraged the Kedjom Keku community to continue prioritising progress for their homeland.

“You will strive high when working as a community,” Fon Ju Wilson III told delegates, stressing that the community’s cohesion is fundamental to sustainable development.

The highlight of his address came when Fon Ju Wilson III, in his role as a recognised authority on land issues in Douala, promised direct support to any Kedjom Keku son or daughter resident in the Littoral region who faces challenges securing land titles or related documentation.

“Don’t hesitate to come to me when you are faced with difficulties obtaining land titles or related documents,” the Fon declared, a pledge that was met with enthusiastic applause and widespread appreciation from the community.

The delegates warmly thanked the Fon for his promising assurance, which many described as a critical lifeline for diaspora members navigating complex land procedures in Douala.

In addition to his verbal commitment, Fon Ju Wilson III backed up his words with action by donating FCFA 100,000 to support KEKCUDA’s revitalisation efforts and pledging to do more as opportunities arise.

Before departing, he seized the moment to invite His Royal Majesty Vutsiboung Benjamin Vubangsi, Fon of Kedjom Keku, and other notables to his Douala palace for deeper discussions on strategic cooperation between the two communities.

In responding, Fon Vubangsi expressed heartfelt gratitude, describing Fon Ju’s gesture as “a true reflection of love, unity, and brotherhood.”
