From ICT-U Roots: Alumni Conquer the Globe

Story, Louvier Kindo Tombe 

Graduates of the ICT University in Cameroon are making waves globally, with many thriving in various fields and industries.

These individuals have leveraged their education and skills to establish successful careers, pursue further studies, and innovate in their respective domains.

Dr. Osang Francis B., a Ph.D. holder in Information Systems and Security, is currently serving as the Department Chair of Computer Science at NOUN, showcasing his expertise in academia. Meanwhile, Mbata David, a graduate with an IMBA, has successfully established himself in Munich, completing his Master’s degree and enjoying a thriving career.

Miracle Ngapensi, an Agro-graduate of Accounting Information Technology (AIT), has become one of the most prominent influencers in the country, leveraging her skills to build a strong online presence.

Junior Chafah, an Accounting Information Technology (AIT) student, successfully transferred to East Carolina University in the USA, where he is furthering his studies.

Alamene Okoyen, a graduate with a BSc. in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), has established himself in the United Kingdom, completing his Master’s degree and enjoying a successful career.

Others, like Simo Odilon, a graduate in Software Engineering and former student union president, are pursuing further studies abroad.

Some alumni have also made a name for themselves through innovation and entrepreneurship. Xaviera Kowo, a graduate in Software Engineering, won the first prize in the Margaret Juniors AFRIQUE/JFD/2021 competition and received the prestigious Point Of Light 20 distinction for her innovation in waste management robots.

Nana Patric, a graduate in Information Systems and Networks, is thriving as a cybersecurity consultant in France, while Pr. LUKOKI VISI JONAS, a graduate in Organizational Management, serves as Budget Administrator at the Higher Institute of Commerce in Matadi.

Dr. Abadallah Ziraba, a graduate in ICT Applied to Education, holds the position of Dean of the Faculty of ICT in Cameroon.

The success stories of these ICT University alumni demonstrate the institution’s commitment to producing well-rounded, skilled, and innovative individuals who can excel in various fields and make a positive impact globally.
