It was with total satisfaction that the different young entrepreneurs in Cameroon separated at the end of the 4th edition of the Emmi Global Summit and Awards that took place in Yaoundé from November 13 to 14, 2024.

The summit was a major come together for entrepreneurship, leadership, and impactful actions in the society for a better Africa.
This other edition respected the tradition of always innovating. “One important aspect is that the summit brought in most of our diaspora entrepreneurs back home this time to do business and raise standards”, Dr. Erise Mary told reporters during a session to evaluate the achievements of the summit.
She seized the opportunity to call on more Cameroonian entrepreneurs in the Diaspora to return home and help boost the economy of the nation. Worth noting is tha fact that one young Cameroonian entrepreneur in the Diaspora, Marius Makon, was present during the 4th edition of the summit in Cameroon. Dr. Erise Mary Dinga also thanked the government for supporting youth-led initiative.
The achievements were not only to Cameroon, the Nigerian delegation to the summit left equaly satisfied.
“The summit was something else, it was an experience I am taking back to Nigeria. I want to say that this is a step towards greater things for the youths not only in Cameroon, but for Africa at large,” says Idongesit Essien, Country Director, Emmi Empire – Nigeria.
Some outstanding personalities and entrepreneurs received distinctions during the awards ceremony.
The fourth edition of the Summit was like the beginning of a new era for Emmi Empire. “Now it gives us another sense of focus and direction to project to the next edition,” Dr. Erise said.
The founding president of the Emmi Empire who doubles as BRICS Ambassador for Africa revealed that her organization will be organizing other impactful events in the near future, such as the Youth connekt and Emmi Empire programme that is coming up on the 20th of December.
“Emmi Empire is hosting a young entrepreneur summit in collaboration with the Youth connekt programme to bring a wonderful moment to them.” It shall hold under the theme “sustainable empowerment”.
“We are also looking forward to April during which we will be organizing the Emmi BRICS Summit, where we are looking forward for BRICS leaders to be in Cameroon.”
