Recently appointed Emmanuel Mariel Djikdent, has officially taken up the command baton as the new Senior Divisional Officer for Mfoundi.

He was commisioned into his functions Wednesday January 6, 2021, in Yaounde by the Governor of Center Region, Naseri Paul Bea.
Emmanuel Mariel Djikdent, takes over six months after his predecessor, the former Divisional officer, Jean Claude Tsila, died last August 2020.
Jean Claude Tsila was the longest serving Mfoundi SDO haven worked for 10 years struggling to maintain peace and security in the Division that hosts important State Institutions.
Of late, the security situation in the Nation’s Capital has been jeopardized following reported cases of explosions in some neighborhoods in the city.
Yaounde is also one of the cities to host the CHAN 2020 Competition.
Emmanuel Mariel Djikdent is therefore expected to tackle these security challenges and many other things in order to gain more trust from his master.
The 46 year old who hailed from upper Nyong Division, East Region, once served as Secretary General at the Centre Governor’s office and later, SDO for the Nyong and So’o.
Prior to his appointment, he was SDO for the Mefou Afamba Division of the Centre Region.
Mr Emmanuel Mariel Djikdent, apart from obtaining a Diploma in Public Administration from the National School of Administration and Magistracy, ENAM, he equally holds a Masters Degree in Law.
