Match day 3 fixture of the Cameroon Professional Football League between Dragon of Yaoundé and PWD of Bamenda has been postponed to an unknown date.

The decision is from the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT and comes hours after PWD Social Club of Bamenda had an accident on their way to Yaoundé for their third league game against Dragon of Yaoundé.

The 30 seater bus transporting players and team officials for the above fixtures caught fire around Makenene causing huge material damage with no lives lost.

“Informed of the road accident that befell PWD of Bamenda on the night of March 18 2021 en route to their Match day 3 fixture, the match has thefore been postponed to a latter date”, reads @fecafoot twitter.

According to information gathered by News Upfront, the players and officials involved in the accident are all psychologically stable.

Meantime, Option Sports Academy of Limbe, a South West regional league has communicated a message of solidarity to the management of the Abakwa Boys.

PWD will therefore be returning home while waiting for a new date of their next game.

Coach David Pagou and his boys are on the 4th position in group A with 4points.
