Paul Eric Kingue, the leader of the MPCN party died on Monday, March 22, 2021 by 1:00 am at the military hospital in Douala where he has been admitted in the emergency ward for over a week now.

Highly renowned for his political commitment, Paul Eric Kingué left the political scene after having been the campaign manager of the CRM leader, Prof. Maurice Kamto.

After leaving the CRM for non-participation in the last legislative and municipal elections, Paul Éric Kingué launched the Patriotic Movement for a New Cameroon, MPCN party.

Tough and not shrinking from any authority, Paul Eric Kingue was engaged in a standoff with the administrative authorities of the Moungo Division over the development of his municipality.

Suffering from an illness for about two weeks, Paul Éric Kingué finally lost his fight in the early hours of March 22, a death that occurs after that of the mayor of Bangangté Jonas Kouamou, who was buried last Saturday.
