Basiliken George Magloire Emmanuel made the statement during the football war q final of Donga Mantung unity and peace tournament. Harping on the importance of peace, love and unity, Donga Mantung SDO said the efforts to sustain and maintain peace as well as encourage living together is a great initiative.
He used the opportunity to call on all the living forces of Donga Mantung Division to follow the example of the General Manager of CAMTEL. Donga Mantung SDO also converges a message of peace to the population of the Division.
Real Madrid of Ako emerge Champion
The football final which was described as one of the highest puller of the year was watched by over 10.000 man crowd. Even with the heavy downpour of the rain in Nkambe, thousands showed up at the Nkambe municipal stadium to support Yah Judith Sunday EPSE Achidi’s efforts in promoting peace and unity in Donga Mantung Division.
At 1:30 pm, drumbeats and trumpet blast echoed into highlands of Binshua and lowland of Tabenken announcing the event at the Nkambe Municipal Stadium.
At exactly 2pm, Donga Mantung SDO gave the kickoff to announce hostilities between the two finalists. Barely 15 minutes into the first half, short Kalla of Real Madrid of Ako hammered a 20 meters missile to score the first goal.
At the 38th minute, Kanna scored the second goal. Both teams tussled until the center referee, Allen Bocsic sent both to the resting room with Real Madrid of Ako was leading Bocar Junior of Nwa by 2-0.
Upon resumption or the second half, Bocar Junior made three good misses that would have put them on the lead. However, the attackers were stopped by the goalkeeper of Real Madrid of Ako.
At the blast of the Alen Bocsic final blast of the whistle, Real of Ako won the 4th Edition of Yah Judith Sunday EPSE Achi’s Peace and Unity Cup for Donga Mantung Division. Some talented players who distinguished themselves during the entire tournament included Kana from Real Madrid of Ako best player, Elvis of Early Bird International was crowned highest goal scored with 9 goals while the goalkeeper of Real took home the prize of best goalkeeper.
It is worth mentioning that throughout the tournament, only one yellow card was given the back keeper of Bocar Junior. It should be noted that over 50 teams participated in the tournament for peace and unity.
