Christel-Diane Youbi is new vice president of JCI International 

The dynamic and enterprising Cameroonian lady was voted to the prestigious position of vice president of the Junior Chamber International, Africa and Middle East team through public votes and decision of the jury during the JCI world congress. The new vice president has a rich professional career and experience.

Celebrating her election at the JCI world congress

Christel-Diane Youbi is not a new name in the organization. Before been voted as vice president, she was in charge of growth and development at Junior Chamber International (JCI). Last year, she was serving in the organization as the one in charge of partnerships. Christel-Diane Youbi has managed the organization at the national level as Cameroon president in 2020, and was later voted Cameroon JCI senate president in 2021.

Her election as vice president of JCI International is thus seen by many as a square peg in the square hole, owing also to her rich academic background and experience.

The new vice president of JCI International is holder of a Masters degree in international communication and public actions, MBA in business administration. Founder of the communication and marketing agency, A&M Group Africa, Christel-Diane Youbi is UNESCO’s peace ambassador, Cameroon’s Youth Conneckt ambassador. She is equally a blogger, communication officer of the Association of Bloggers of Cameroon (ABC). Christel-Diane Youbi started her professional career working with the company, General Electrics and occupied positions such as sales manager for Central Africa. This is the rich background and experience that she is taking into the position of vice president of JCI International.

Vote of thanks

Shortly after her election as vice president of JCI International, Christel-Diane Youbi sent out a vote of thanks to all those who contributed in her favour.

“I am delighted to announce my victory as Vice-President of JCI. I am humbled and honoured by the unwavering support I have received throughout this campaign,” Christel-Diane Youbi said.

“Your confidence in me is a tremendous honour and I look forward to taking on this challenge with dedication.”

Christel-Diane Youbi expressed her gratitude to everyone who has supported her saying “you encouraged me and believed in me”.

“Your support has given me the strength and determination to see this campaign through. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this opportunity to serve. I look forward to working hand in hand with all of you,” she added.
