The award ceremony took place recently IN Douala. During the proceedings, HRH Thomas A. Fotang, Convener and CEO of G2G International Humanitarian Foundation, articulated the essence of the recognitions:

”For six seasons, the G2G Courageous Prize has searched for one quality—not fame, but a person whose life defines humanity faithfully and without condition. We are not here to admire status; we are here to call on conscience,” — HRH Thomas A. Fotang said.

Now in its 6th season, the G2G International Awards platform stands as a global beacon designed to honor rare human conviction, integrity, and quiet dedication to nation-building.

The core mandate of the G2G International Prize is clear: to spotlight leaders who put humanity above personal gain. The international recognition is backed by the goodwill ambassador working under the representative of the UN-CISRI in Cameroon, Thomas A. Fotang.

Dr. Ndom Ebongue Manga’s selection stems from her fearless, frontline leadership. From navigating the clinical firestorm as Head of the Mixed COVID-19 Care Unit at the Yassa Annex to championing systemic healthcare reform, her resilience in saving lives under extreme pressure set a gold standard for public service.

A Foundation Built on Merit

For the G2G jury, selecting Dr. Ndom Ebongue Manga was not a gamble, but the natural culmination of a career already defined by major accolades:

US Chamber of Commerce “Prix du Courage Féminin” (2020): Awarded by AmCham for her unflinching dedication to clinical management during acute healthcare crises.

National Medals of Honor: Decorated with both the Silver and Vermeil Labor Medals (Médailles de travail en Argent et Vermeil) by the Republic of Cameroon for outstanding administrative and medical loyalty.

Pioneering Governance: Her tenure as President of the Association of Doctors of Cameroon (Medcamer) cemented her role as an ethical advocate for medical practitioners and patient rights.

Accepting the distinction with characteristic humility, Dr. Ndom Ebongue Manga reflected on the true driver behind her lifelong vocation:

“Medicine is not merely a profession of techniques; it is a sacred commitment to human dignity. True courage is choosing to stand by the patient when the storm is fiercest,r”  Dr. Marie Solange Ndom epse Ebongue Manga said

By bridging elite scientific research at the University of Douala with compassionate frontline care, Dr. Ndom Ebongue Manga proves that the G2G International Prize did not simply create a champion—it recognized one who was already leading the way.
