The Member of Parliament was in Bafut Sub Division where he donated to victims of the Anglophone Crisis.
Hon. Agho Oliver, MP for Bafut-Tubah Constituency, Mezam Division of the North West region is on a reconstruction tour in his Constituency.
After donation building materials to the people of Bambui, Tuhah Sub Division, the MP was in Bafut, Bafut Sub Division for the same exercise.
His target is principally those who are homeless as a result of the crisis rocking the two English speaking regions of the country.
Saturday, April 25, 2020, in Bafut, some 27 families benefitted from the largesse of the Parliamentarian.
Just like in Bambui the MP donated Alluminium roofing sheets and envelopes to victims estimated at Millions of FCFA.
He stressed that the money in the envelopes should be used to build planks and nails for the roofing.
The beneficiary families could not hide their feelings.
One of them, who has been homeless for months, was overwhelmed with the gesture from the Parliamentarian and declared;
“I am going me home tomorrow to roof my house and bring back my family”
The Member of Parliament, enjoined the population of Bafut to shun away from violence and embrace peace for many other development strives are on the way.
“What you see here is my personal effort and that of my friends, it is not from the budget of my micro projects” Hon. Agho told the people.
“When the grants will come, it shall be divided equally to the two Sub Divisions of my constituency, Bafut and Tubah” he added.

The ceremony saw the presence of the Mayor of Bafut, and the DO of Bafut Sub Division.
Both authorities called on the population to strive for peace in the Sub Division.
Before leaving Bafut, the Member of Parliament took an engagement to visit the rest of the villages in the constituency in the days ahead.
Bambili, Kejom Ketinguh and Kejom Keku.
It should be noted that the deputy Member of Parliament for Bafut-Tubah is a lady from Bafut.
