The people of Lebialem Division, South West Region of Cameroon have collectively banished key seperatist activist in the Diaspora, Christopher Anu, from the Division.

The declaration is from an elite of the Division, Minister Paul Tasong, who says that Christopher Anu, aka Chris Anu, would never set foot on the soil anymore.

Chris Anu is accused of severe crimes against humanity and for violating the rights of an entire population. Chiefs are not allowed to rule their people feely, children can’t school freely among others.

Minister Paul Tasing, was speaking Tuesday February 16, 2021 in Yaounde as the sons and daughters of the Division gathered to honour the lives of their Chiefs murdered by the junior brother of Chris Anu, known as Lekeaka Oliver aka Field Marshall.

The Minister during the event sent a message to Field Marshall that they are coming for him and the best thing he can do is to surrender and be taken to the DDR Centre, of be ready to pay with his life.

Paul Tasong declared that the gods of Lebialem are angry, very angry.

“We are here to call the devil by it’s name, we have two particular demons in the Division, who happens to be blood brothers, Christopher Anu who lives in the USA and gives all instructions and provides resources to his junior brother, Lekeaka Oliver aka Field Marshall who is his field operations manager on the ground” Paul Tasong told reporters in Yaounde.

To the people of Lebialem, the Minister enjoined them to continue to believe in the institutions of the state, and to trust and support the Defence and Security Forces, while looking forward to the day that they shall all return home freely.

The Minister did not hesitate to guarantee the population that the day will be very soon.

In his speech, Paul Tasong, conveyed to the affected families and the Lebialem people in general, the compassion of the Head of State, Paul Biya and wife Chantal Biya.

The Incident

On the night breaking February 14, 2021, it is reported that armed men stormed some palaces in Lebialem Division, brought out three Traditional Rulers plus an elite from their homes, took them to the market square, killed and dumped their bodies in a nearby stream.

According to the Minister Delegate to the Minister of the Economy, Planning and Regional Development in charge of Planning, Paul Tasong, who is an elite of Lebialem, the only crime of the chiefs was that they refused to hand over proceeds of their cocoa sales for the 2020/2021 season to the seperatists and had encouraged others not to succumb to pressure from the fighters.

They were also accused of fanning the spirit of Education in the Division as one of the Chiefs was a school Head Master.

Besides the Chiefs, some youths of the Division were equally arrested by the armed men and locked up inside a house.

The youths were later set free by security officials.

The recent killings in Lebialem according to the seperatist activist Chris Anu, was not masterminded by his brother Field Marshall, but by Government forces who are bent to tarnish the image of the struggle.
