Some 100 students who distinguished themselves during the 2019/2020 session of the General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level and Baccalaureate shall be rewarded by the African Renaissance In The Making, ARITMA.

The ceremony dub (La Nuit Des Majors or Valedictorian Night) shall take place at the Yaounde Conference Centre on December 12, 2020.

It shall be preceded by a symposium on December 11, on the theme, “Academic Excellence at the Service of African Renaissance”

According to the promoter of the event, Guy Elessa, the objective is to arouse among the Cameroonian youth in general, the quest for effort; excellence; and for a healthy competition in the school millieu.

“The top 100 students from the GCE A/L and Baccalaureate exams will receive precious trophies in a live broadcast gala, in and atmosphere of celebration, commemoration and national communion.” Mr. Elessa told News Upfront.

Worth noting is the fact that the ceremony, was initially scheduled for last October 10, but was adjourned due to the non availability of all the results and statistics of the GCE Advanced Level and Baccalaureate exams.

The Awards

The ARITMA Academic Awards is considered by educationists as the right peg in the right hole because Education is a gift that keeps giving.
