After a fruitless search operation, the deceased’s grandmother was informed by her grandchild that, David was last seen heading to an unknown destination with his uncle, Gaëtan Kouliba, News Upfront gathered.

Following intense pressure from family members and officers of the Biwong-Bane gendarmerie brigade, the 15year old teenager, finally admitted to killing and burying the nephew in a nearby bush.

He confessed that he killed the boy in retaliation to an earlier dispute and fight between him and the victim’s mother and his elder sister, Marceline Memong.
