Over 500 women in Ndu subdivision, Donga Mantung Division of the North West region have benefitted from a free health campaign organised in their honour by the General Manager of CAMTEL, Judith Yah Sunday Epse Achidi.

The objective of the campaign was to improve the health and well-being of widows in the community, many of who are ignorant of the health challenges they are facing almost on a daily basis.

It falls within efforts to support vulnerable populations in the region.

During the exercise, free medical consultations, and laboratory tests, were conducted on all the windows, while free drugs were distributed to them.

By providing access to medical care, the initiative also seeks to improve the health outcomes of widows and their families.

The campaign which took place at the Ndu District Hospital, was in commemoration of the International Widows’ Day, 2025.

The event was well-received by the community, with most of the beneficiary widows expressing gratitude to Mafor Yah Sunday for the initiative.

Mafor Yah Sunday Epse Achidi’s sponsorship of the event demonstrates her commitment to social responsibility and community development.

The Director General’s efforts have made a significant impact on the lives of widows in Ndu, providing them with much-needed medical care and support.

Mafor Yah Sunday it should be noted is always at the service of her community when ever need arises.
