The Cameroon U-20 Lions have won the Union Cup of Central African Football Federation.
Their were crowned champions on Tuesday December 22nd at the Malabo Omnisport stadium in Equatorial Guinea, where the Lions beat their counterparts from Central African Republic by 3 goals to nothing at the finals.
The first goal was scored at the 33rd minute by midfielder Saidou Ibrahim.
The lions maintained their supremacy with a 2nd goal from Junior Sunday at the 64th minute of play.
Junior Sunday scored his brace at the 76th minute, which aided team Cameroon to confirmed its domination.
The U-20 Lions ended the football jamboree which began on December 15th with a record of two wins and a draw.
Central African Republic on her part have one victory and one defeat.
Both teams are however qualified for the U-20 AfCON scheduled for Mauritania in 2021.
The 2020 edition of U-20 Cup saw the withdrawal of Chad.
It also saw the elimination of Congo at the first round, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Equtorial Guinea, the host country.
