The Minister of Territorial Administration, Paul Atanga Nji, has taken President Paul Biya’s Christmas gifts to some 2300 Internally Displaced persons in the North West region.

The Minister was in Bamenda on Thursday, December 24, 2020 to distribute the consignment.

Among the gifts were metrasses, blankets, vegetable oil, bags of rice, spaghetti, soap, buckets… etc.

Besides the distribution in Mezam Division to over 500 families, the Christmas gifts were also handed over to SDOs of the other six Divisions of the region, for unward distribution to IDPs in their respective Divisions.

In each of the Divisions, a total of 300 families shall be targeted.

The distribution in Bamenda was a continuation of what was started in Yaounde on Monday December 21.

The Head of State, Paul Biya, it should be noted has made available gifts worth FCFA 600 Million for the exercise.

According to the Minister of Territorial Administration, the distribution shall continue in other regions of the country during this festive period.
