The students were all beautifully dressed in their green-colored graduation robes that Saturday morning of July 27, 2024. It was a new tradition introduced in the school program aimed at celebrating the student s for their hard work and success in their respective final year examinations.

“I am leaving WAGUE well equipped with knowledge to face the future,” one of the graduating students told News Upfront.

“Our teachers have been wonderful throughout the academic year.”

With smiles on their faces, the students took turns to receive their end of year attestations from the hands of officials present at the ceremony.

The joy was not only that of students. The administrative and teaching staffs were also marveled especially with the results of the different 2024 official examinations in both sub systems of education.

“The teaching staff of WAGUE did a wonderful job again this academic year, and I commend them for that,” the principal of the school said.

The successful results in 2024 were not extraordinary because the school has always taken the lead when it comes to academic excellence and discipline. According to the Principal, “WAGUE has been on top position within the division for the past 6 years”.

The school it should be noted is found in Soa sub division, Mefou and Afamba division of the Centre region of Cameroon.

According to the coordinator of the institution, the graduation ceremony was a call for action to the younger students. “We want them to follow the footsteps of their seniors and do even more,” she added.

The voice of parents whose children are enrolled in the school was also echoed during the graduation, and according to the representatives of parents, they did not waste their time and money sending their kids to WAGUE because “the results are encouraging”.

The ceremony it should be noted opened with academics orientations presented by prof. Henri Tedongmo Tedo, a sociologist, and Thierry Nyamen, promoter of NTFoods.
