The young man had tried in vain to gain the trust of his mother before resorting to taking away her life.

Jean Jacques is presently behind bars in Ntui, Center Region for murdering his own mother.

The incident happened at a village known as Nkolve, Ntui Sub Division.

News Upfront gathered that the presumed killer, has been fighting over the properties left behind by their father for years but was told by their mother that he is not the successor.

That is how he fought and drove away his siblings from the family compound in order to easily get access to the inheritance all alone.

When Jean Jacques discovered that his mum is not willing to reveal all their father left behind and also hand over some strategic documents, he decided to do away with her.

He then proceeded to kill his own mum and burried the body some metres away from the family compound.

Informed, elements of the Ntui Gendarmerie Brigade arrested the presumed killer who helped in exhuming the body of 60 years old Marie Antoinette.

An investigation into the killing of the woman has been launched at the level of the Ntui Gendarmerie Brigade.
