A 28-year-old lady identified as Nadège TCHOUBOUM, has been killed, raped and mutilated.

The act was committed on April 24, 2021, by a boy from the village of Nyamsson 3 near Bafia, Mbam and Inoubou Division of the Centre Region.

The victim, mother of a young baby was surprised by her tormentor in a field where she was fetching firewood.

Just when she was about to carry the bundle she had collected, she was knocked down by the 19-year-old boy with the aide of a machette.

He would then rape the already dead girl and will extract her eyes.

The latter accused her of having fetched wood in a field belonging to his father without permission.

He has been arrested, thanks to a tip off from his father who discovered blood on his clothes hidden in the house.

The murder suspect is presently behind bars at the Bafia Gendarmerie Brigade where an investigation has been opened.
