Story, Louvier Kindo Tombe

Renowned Cameroonian media mogul and philanthropist Bony Dashaco has officially endorsed President Paul Biya for reelection in the October 12 presidential poll.

The Chairman of ACMAR Media Group and CEO of Dashaco Holdings told The Guardian Post he is giving his “full and unflinching support” to Biya, citing the President’s wisdom, experience, and foresight demonstrated over four decades at the helm of state.

“Cameroon is a complex country that needs an experienced statesman. President Biya has steered the nation through storms, ensuring stability and unity,” Dashaco said.

He emphasized Biya’s efforts to improve the investment climate, promote peace, and safeguard national cohesion, arguing that the incumbent remains the safest hands to lead Cameroon.

Inspiring Cameroonian

Dashaco is admired for his philanthropic impact and job creation initiatives. Recently honored with the traditional title “A Timbi-Lionge wa Soppo ndene” (Great Economic Operator and Pillar), he has been hailed for empowering youth, sustaining jobs in the crisis-hit South West Region, and backing cultural and development initiatives.

He is also a member of the Major National Dialogue follow-up committee and the South West Development Forum, advocating economic solutions to the Anglophone crisis.

The Business Titan

With operations in 22 African countries, Dashaco Holdings spans media, finance, energy, construction, and hospitality. Dashaco has been ranked among Africa’s Top 100 Managers under 40 by Institut Choiseul and listed among the 50 Most Influential Young Cameroonians.

In 2021, he launched Dash TV, Dash Info, and Dash Sports & Entertainment, boosting Cameroon’s media landscape.

Strategic Backing

By endorsing Biya, Dashaco positions himself as both a patriotic businessman and a voice for peace and stability. His support gives the incumbent a powerful ally from Cameroon’s dynamic private sector.
