En effet, la Fifa intense faitière a rendu public la liste des arbitres présélectionnés à prendre part au mondial Quatar 2022.

Fait majeur et même inattendu; aucun Camerounais n’y figure. Même pas celui de l’international Alouim Sidi.

Le Camerounais avait pourtant officié comme central des matchs d’ouverture et de clôture (finale) de la dernière édition de la Coupe d’Afrique des Nations Égypte 2019.

Arbitre international depuis 2008, Alouim sidi a, soulignons pris part à six compétions internationales toutes compétitions confondues.

Labsence d’un arbitre Camerounais dans cette liste vient sans doute remettre en cause le niveau de l’arbitrage au Cameroun.

Sur les 54 arbitres présélectionnés par la Fifa, seul six (06) arbitres africains y figurent.

L’ Algérien Mustapha Ghorbal, le Marocain Redowane Jiyel, l’égyptien Amin Mohamed, le Sénégalais Maguette Ndiaye, le Congolais Jean Jacques Ngambo et l’Ethiopien Bamlak Tessema Weyesa.
