[ACCI-CAVIE] The African Centre for Competitive Intelligence, a benchmark institution for competitive intelligence in Africa, is organising the 2nd edition of the “Festival de l’Intelligence Economique Francophone (FIEF)” under the patronage of Radhi MEDDEB, honorary member of the ACCI, on 2 November 2023 at the Sofitel Mont Fébé in Yaoundé, Cameroon, under the theme: “Boosting the competitiveness of Francophone territories”.
Following its massive success in Djerba, Tunisia last November, where it held on the sidelines of the XVIIIth Summit of Heads of State and Government of OIF in November 2022 the FIEF is setting sail for Yaoundé.
The FIEF has become the annual meeting point for francophone competitive intelligence professionals and amateurs from across the globe. The FIEF2023 will be held as a prelude to the 43rd session of the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie, scheduled to take place in the Cameroonian capital from 3 to 5 November 2023.
The ACCI is the initiative of Mr Guy GWETH, world renowned competitive and strategic intelligence expert of Cameroonian descent, particularly recognised for his ideas on ‘African competitive intelligence’ where humans are the main source of reliable information.
Introducing this international festival, a training session on ” intelligence and Competitive strategy to conquer francophone markets” will hold at the ACCI headquarters in Bastos, Yaoundé.
The November 2023 edition will focus on: understanding the challenges of Francophone territorial intelligence; attracting public and private investors to Francophone territories; retaining and developing investment in Francophone territories; defending and promoting Francophone territories internationally; and highlighting successful models of Francophone competitiveness.
As with the 2022 event, the proceedings of the FIEF2023 will be published in the form of a collective work entitled “Doper la compétitivité des territoires francophones” (“Boosting the competitiveness of French-speaking territories”) under the direction of the scientific committee.
This white paper will be primarily intended for Francophone government delegations meeting in Yaoundé from 03 to 05 November 2023, at the General Secretariat of the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie, then released in the 36 participating countries with the help of local and international sponsors.
