Minister Paul Tasong, head of the CPDM in Lebialem Division, has urged party members to rally behind President Paul Biya, emphasizing unity and proactive organization ahead of the October 12 presidential election.

Speaking at a meeting in Alou Subdivision on Saturday, August 16, he called for intensified campaigns and mobilization to surpass the party’s 2018 electoral results.

“We have come to organize ourselves on how to run and manage the relations leading to the October 12, 2025, presidential election. We hope to maintain and even surpass the results we obtained in 2018 in favour of our champion, His Excellency President Paul Biya,” Minister Tasong declared.

The gathering brought together key CPDM figures from the Division, including municipal and regional councillors, National Assembly members, mayors, section presidents, and numerous militants and supporters.

Attendees were tasked with stepping up door-to-door campaigns, mobilizing resources for party activities, and promoting peace and stability throughout Lebialem.

In closing, the Lebialem CPDM elite passed a motion of unwavering support for President Biya and commended the Senior Divisional Officer, Fabien Kah, and his team for their role in consolidating peace in the area.
