A man identified as Justin has killed his cadet brother, Thiery Ndeng, in Deuk, Mbam and Inoubou division of the centre region.

Reports hold that the 33_ year_old deceased was quarreling with his wife, when he threatened her with a machete.

The wife immediate sought her inlaw’s help, whose house is a stone throw from theirs. The furious in-law (Justin) arrived and used the said machete on his cadet brother.

“I heard my neighbour shouting my name open the door, this is Justin that is killing me. He has cut my leg. When I got outside, Justin was no longer there. I pointed my torch at Thiery, but found out that he was no longer making any movements”, said Thiery’s neighbour.

Another person added “It was at about 10pm when I saw a man heading towards the palace. To my greatest surprise, it was Thiery’s brother, who was going to the palace to see the chief. I approached him to ask what the matter was. He told me that he was in a fight with his brother and wife, who have seriously molested him in his house. Few minutes later, I got cries”.

Thiery’s body (the cadet brother) was buried on Monday January 4th, three days after he died.

Family members have said it was so because of inadicuate finance to have kept the body in the mortuary.

Justin is under police custody, and an investigation has been opened to look into the matter.
