Two people have died in a road accident around pk 05 in Essamintsang village along the Abong Mbang-Yaounde highway.
The victims were on board a gendarme Prado immatriculated 21691554 under the control of retired general Angouang Claude Laurent.
The driver of the general, retired gendarme officer, Atchole Ngale Guy Théodore and a certain Ze Ferdinand were inside the car at the time of accident.
Their vehicle was hit by a speedy truck coming from the opposite direction.
The truck driver disappeared immediately after the accident.
Eye witness accounts say he ran into the nearby bush.
