Within a short period of four years in Turkey, Efuetzi Derick Suh a migrant prides himself of a grandious one stop fashion shop- “Derick’s Fashion” in Instanbul, solid online platform and two Masters Degrees.

Though it had been his dream to travel abroad for greener pastures after his Bachelor’s degree in 2015, the anglophone crisis of 2016 precipitated this drive. Stepping foot on Turkish soil in 2016, the holder of a BA in History from the University of Buea, understood the common adage of “the yam and the knife are in your hands”.

The route which led this youth from Lebialem Division to Turkey was an admission for a Masters Degree in International Relations and Political Science in Instanbul Aydin University. Difficulties in the payment of his tuition fee and meeting up with expenses in this foreign land led this vibrant Cameroonian youth to start thinking out of the box. In the process, the concept of Derick’s Fashion was born.

Derick’s Fashion trades in clothings and shoes for men, women and children of all sizes. Collections made available by Derick’s Fashion include: party gowns, suits, office wears, casual wears, female and male shoes for all occasions.

With a relatively lower cost that he offers to customers, Derick’s Fashion’s collection is highly demanded especially in Africa, with majority of his patronisers from Cameroon.

Derick’s Fashion boasts of delivery services everywhere in the world where an order is placed. Speaking to one of Derick’s Fashion’s reliable customers in Cameroon, he attests thus: “When I place orders, I am certain to have them in my possession within six working days. For example in the month of February before the Covid-19 took another dimension, I ordered some suits, shirts, t-shirts and shoes. Within five days, I was notified to come for my package. I was surprised at the rapidity and reliability of the service”.

The juicy nature of the business has not derailed Efuetzi Derick Suh from the maiden motive of being in Turkey which is academics. With the proceeds from his fashion business, Derick has successfully acquired an MA in International Relations and Political Science and he is rounding up with a second Masters in Business Administration.

With vision of returning to Cameroon in the nearest future for more business mappings, Efuetzi Derick Suh is determined to fly high the flag of Cameroon in the domain of business and academics.

As he celebrates an additional year today, he is celebrating his strives so far, while calling on every Cameroonian who wishes to do business in Turkey and anywhere in the world to partner with him. He is reachable via all social media platforms and goes by the name Suh Derick, +905319515514.
