Chantal Biya Int’l Cycling Race: Tella Artuce consolidates CAMTEL Blue jersey

SNH Velo Club cyclist Tella Artuce Jodele, has consolidated the prestigious CAMTEL Blue jersey, at the end of the first and second laps, of the Chantal Biya International Cycling Tour, that kicked-off on October 1, in Nkoteng.

The Cameroonian peddler, crossed the white line within a time frame of 2’h14’50, after covering a distance of 99,7km, in the first stage of the bicycle Jamboree

The CAMTEL Blue jersey winner, finished overall best Cameroonian cyclist, for the second time covering a distance of 164,9km.

The second lap of the competition that run from Yaoundé-Ebolowa-Nkolandom, saw the Belgian cyclist Wouters Rutger, finishing overall winner on 3h43’50.

On second and third spot were Van Dyck Wesley 3h44’08 from Belgium and Algerian Heyhen Wannes 3h44’08.

On fourth and fifth spot came, Algerian and first lap winner Hamza Yacine 3h45’58 and Amani Hamza from Algeria, 3h45’58.

The third lap of the race will run from Ebolowa-Mengong-Sangmelima, over a distance of 104,2km.

Despite the heavy Belgian and Algerian domination, team Cameroon is yet to pick up her ever first yellow jersey, as the competition becomes more tedious and daunting.
