Parents now have a center where they can send their children to get quality Education.
Texas Graceland International Academy (TGIA) is a school which provides quality teaching and learning for all it’s pupils, delivering a curriculum for the development of the whole child, and one that is fit for the 21st century.
“The system that we are going to practice in TGIA is inclusive bilingualism”, Dr. Eileen Teyim, co founder of the school told reporters during the launch in Yaounde.
“The children would not only be educated with knowledge but more importantly in character”, she added.
Texas Graceland International Academy was co founded by Dr Eileen Teyim, based in the USA and Mrs Doris Mbafor. Dr Teyim has always had a great passion for training young minds and changing lives. These founders strongly believe in the potential of each child.
“We are dedicated and committed to make a difference in shaping the lives of young children in Cameroon”, Mrs Doris Mbafor said.
“You can trust us with your children, we are very passionate with what we are doing here, we believe in the potential of every child”, she added.
Speaking at the launching, one of the head teachers of the school, Mr. Akum Kenneth Anti-Wane Ihimbru assured the public that the school is ready for the 2022/2023 academic year.
“We shall begin effective classes on Monday, September 5th 2022 at exactly 7:30 am”, he confirmed.

Most of the speakers at the launch showered praises at the newly opened school.
“It is an honour for the Yaounde IV Sub Division to host such an institution”, Onana George said.
Onana George, represented the mayor of Yaounde IV during the event.
Also present was the pedagogic animator of Basic Education for Yaounde IV, Madam Asongwe Fobatu Bih.
“This is a prestigious, wonderful, sparkling institution”, she confessed adding that;
“The classrooms are airy, comfortable, in short, the set up of the school is the best”.
Madam Asongwe Fobatu Bih, admitted that Integral bilingualism is not common in Cameroon, and with the American Curriculum, it is a supplementary content that is being brought to add to the Cameroon curriculum.
She challenged the teaching staff to make good use of both the American and Cameroon curriculum for the interest of the pupils.
A major advantage learning at Texas Graceland International Academy is the fact that the children would have the opportunity to be introduced to other languages such as Spanish, Chinese among others.
The school offers bus transportation, free uniforms to all registered children, a full time nurse in the school campus, extracurricular activities and free holiday classes.
Security is unmatched, with surveillance cameras all over and a solid fence all around the school with security guards.
