Musango’s Managing Director is Cameroon’s 2024 most courageous man

The Managing Director of Musango Bus Service has received an award for his selfless services to the nation.

It was in the presence of the personnel of Musango Bus Service (MBS) in Yaounde that the Managing Director was decorated.

The G2G Courageous Men Award was presented to Dinga Derick Gasah, Managung Director of Musango Bus Service by the Goodwill Ambassador of the UN-CISRI Cameroon, a permanent observatory mission in the country, H. E. Fotang Thomas Ayuk, who doubles as CEO of Grass 2 Grace Humanitarian Foundation.

“We are celebrating a mover and a shaker, a man who is an example of a veritable nation builder,” says H. E. Fotang Thomas Ayuk, aka Pa Tom.

The award was presented on Monday, July 22nd 2024 during a ceremony at the Ahala branch office of the inter-urban transport company in Yaounde. 

Dinga Derick Gasah was decorated with a diamond-like medal, a trophy, a certificate and a muffler.

“I feel really happy. I didn’t expect this because you know I am focused on doing my job,” he said.

“I am really impressed. This award is an encouragement for me to do more.”

The achievements of Dinga Derick Gasah at the helm of MBS have been attracting positive recognition to his person.

“Dinga Derick Gasah is an example to emulate,” says Fotang Thomas. “He falls amongst few Cameroonians and other nationals who are to be honourd for a job well done in this nation.”

The MD has put up a sterling performance after the demise of his late father Mola MOTANGA Andrew MONJIMBA, recording major breakthroughs in expanding the company nationwide.

One of his recent achievements is the inauguration of the VIP lounge of the company’s branch office in Ahala – Yaounde.

The standard of the VIP Lounge of is compared to none. It is equipped with an air conditioner, massage chairs, free Wi-Fi, built-in USB ports for smartphone charging, modern restrooms, and the services are unmatched and first class. Access is free but limited to VIP customers.

Speaking shortly after the decoration and presentation of award, the Managing Director dedicated the award to his late father for his hope and trust in him, and for molding him to who he is today.

“This award is actually his. I would have been nothing without him.”

He equally thanked his staff and the entire personnel of MBS for their collective efforts.

The G2G Courageous man of the year award honours Cameroonians of all walks of life and other nationals for services rendered to the nation.
