Mr. Ngezem Fortsomo Skyly, was decorated with a medal and a neck-ribbon. He equally received a trophy and a certificate for his selfless services to the nation, and for taking the credit union from grass to grace.

According to HRM Thomas FOTANG, the GM of Mmockmbie Credit Union Cooperative LTD is one of the rare Cameroonians who “has decided to kill the brain drain syndrome of the Western world”.

“He is a veritable nation builder.”

It is not the first time that the credit union and it’s General Manager are receiving recognitions for services rendered to the nation.

“Last February, we were honoured by The Guardian Post with another award thanks to the quality of our services,” says Ngezem Fortsomo Skyly.

Speaking to journalists who attended the decoration ceremony, the GM said 2024 will be pregnant with more quality services and the staff will do their best to satisfy the public.

The G2G courageous man of the year award honours Cameroonians from all walks of life and other nationals for services rendered to the nation.

The ceremony to decorate and present accolades to the GM of the credit union was an occasion for him to make some important announcements on projects and services to see the light of the day in the near future. MmoCCUL, he said, will be launching 2 additional international services across all it’s branches in the month of March.

“We are introducing worldremit operations and a specialized software for mobile banking which will help our customers to push and pull money at the comfort of their homes,” the GM told News Upfront.

“Once you are in any Branch of the country, the history of your account is with you.”

Most of the innovations for 2024 were adopted during the Annual General Meeting of the Cooperative for 2023, that took place last January 28. The AGM was attended by all the scribes and members of the Cooperative, and was presided at by the president of the board of directors, Changeh George.

Mmockmbie Credit Union Cooperative LTD it should be noted is now heavily represented in 5 of the 10 regions of the country. It counts a total membership of more than 8500 in all its branches across the country.
