The ex girlfriend of the dreaded seperatist fighter, gen. ‘no pity’, who was released on bail at the South West court of appeal in Buea on Wednesday December 15, 2021 is set to carry on with moves to obtain total justice.

The declaration is from barrister Tamfu Richard, one of the lead counsels of her defense team.

“We should not forget that through us the counsel, she deposited a complaint against the perpetrators of her arbitrary arrest that led to her detention in prison. We are now looking forward that in the days ahead, the file which has been assigned to the legion of Buea, is going to be opened because she will be able to go the there and confirm the complaint we filed and give her statement so that her perpetrators too can come and answer for the assaults and torture that they committed against her.” Barrister Tamfu told News Upfront.

To him, the release on bail of their client is a well saluted step, but it does not put and end to the court procedures.

The case that dragged her to prison is still on at the military tribunal in Buea, and again she is up for another show of justice to be rendered.

“Kongnso Antoinette has been granted bail at the inquiry control chambers of the appeal court in Buea but that does not mean that the charges have been withdrawn. You know that there is a preliminary inquiry against her before the military examining magstrate at the military tribunal in Buea, so we hope that in the days ahead, the hearing of that inquiry is going to start, and we would be able to assist her to make sure that she is not being accused arbitrarily or levied charges for crimes which she has not committed.” Barrister Tamfu Richard said.

According to Barrister Tamfu, the former girlfriend of gen. ‘no pity’ has proven beyond reasonable doubts that the affair they both had was long over, and she is presently living with the father of her weeks old baby, and all she needs now is for justice to be given to her.

She was arrested by chief Moja Moja.
