Amateur Clubs Demand Payment of Arrear Bonuses From FECAFOOT

The Cameroon Association of Amateur Football Clubs known in French as Union Camerounaise des Clubs Amateur De Football( UCCAF) has petitioned the President of Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT), Seidou Mbombo Njoya over the nonpayment of match bonuses

In a letter addressed last April 21, 2020, the President of the Amateur Clubs Association, Balock John demands that, match bonuses owed them for the 2016/2017 Cup of Cameroon up to the 16th finals be paid.

The President BALOCK noted the importance of the payment at this challenging times.
“Mr President, in this delicate period of the Covid- 19 pandemic, the payment of these arrears to eligible clubs for our amateur clubs which do not receive subsidies in their daily contribution efforts to the development of grassroots football” he said.

Cameroon’s Football Association, FECAFOOT recently cough out 40 million FCFA to 18 elite one clubs, 14 elite two clubs and 12 women’s football clubs in the country excluding the Amateur clubs in the regions.

The decision to sideline amateur clubs in the ten regions of Cameroon has irked the clubs presidents under the banner of UCCAF to voiced out their dismay through the petition
