The organisation recently organised a reach-out in Bonamoume – Bonaberi, Douala.

“Bonamoume is one of the localities in Bonaberi with the highest number of IDPs from the restive anglophone regions”, says HM Thomas Fotang, aka Pa Tom.

Pa Tom, is the CEO of the organisation, “Grass 2 Grace Humanitarian Foundation”.

About 200 IDPs from the North West and South West regions benefitted from the largesse of the organisation.

School book, bags, pens, pencils, rulers, and other didactic materials were distributed to them.

“I am very very happy with all of these gifts, and I pray God to provide more to those who made it possible”, says a beneficiary IDP pupil.

Most of the beneficiaries were primary school school children, and they were accompanied to the ceremony by their parents.

“This is a wonderful gesture, and it will really help me because if I were to buy 10 books, I will now buy only five, and will not buy other things”, declared the father of another beneficiary.

The coordinator of the IDPs in Bonamoume, madam Carine, could not hide her feelings.

“Thank you for remembering our neighborhood, Grass 2 Grace Foundation has done a very important thing that will impact the IDPs here, we are very grateful, and we pray this gesture continues”, she told Pa Tom, CEO of the organisation.

It is the seventh time that the organisation “Grass 2 Grace Foundation” is reaching out to children who have been displaced as a result of the crisis in the restive North West and South West regions of the country.

Seven times in their ten (10) years of existence. This was made possible thanks to some faithful partners and sponsors.

“I cannot thank our faithful partners and sponsors enough for what they continue to do for us, the foundation is more than grateful with their support”, Pa Tom said, adding that;

“I call this one an outreach of grace”.

The outreach it should be noted was initially postponed due to the health situation of the promoter of the initiative, who was operated upon. The grace of God is what made it to happen according to the promoter.

Another appointment has been taken for next year.

“We expect to go an extra mile next year by extending the gesture to other highly IDP inhabited neighbourhoods in Douala.
