This year, the celebration is in its fourth edition and special attention is directed to how journalists can report accurately and professionally on the present COVID-19 spread across the world.
Reporters/Journalists are leaning more every day about COVID-19, and what they doubt can seem scary. This is more reasons for them to fact check their information to avoid misleading the population.
The objective of the World Fact Checking Day is to celebrate the common values of fact checkers around the world.
Fact Checking it Should be noted is different from others in the sense that fact checkers change things to impact the world in a good sense and not just trying to report on stories.
As the day is observed today, April 1st, 2020 worldwide, News Upfront brings to you some basic tips to bear in mind when Reporting on the Corona virus spread.

The day is organised by the International Fact Checking Network (IFCN) in collaboration with other fact checking Organizations.
