The Youngest Member of Parliament in Cameroon, Hon. Agho Oliver, has commended the courage of the people of Sabga, Tubah Sub Division, who have been braving the odds to foil the actions of seperatist fighters in the locality.
In his recent tour to Tubah Sub Division, the MP for Mezam North Constituency paid special attention to the Muslim community especially as they are observing Ramadan.
“I have come to congratulate you for taking the commitment to be development oriented and peace abiding” Hon. Agho Oliver, told the Muslim community.
The congratulatory message from the MP was delivered to the population at the Lamidad of Sabga on May 4, 2021 during a ceremony attended by the alternate Parliamentarian for Bafut – Tubah and other elites of the locality.
The Muslim community in Sabga it should be noted have time without number, foiled plans from seperatist fighters to burn down schools in the locality.
This, to the MP is a perfect example to emulate, for every other community should collaborate in the quest for peace.
Hon. Agho Oliver, did not only deliver a message of peace, but translated it into action in providing basic neccessities to the Muslim Community both in their strong hold in Sabga, at the Mosque in Bambili and the Tubah Mosque just to name but these.
Besides bags of rice, cartons of sugar, blankets, and buckets to encourage the Muslim community during the month of Ramadan, the Youngest and dynamic MP also handed financial packages to school going children and women as they observe the last 10 days of the holy month.
Hon. Agho Oliver, promised the population to always and to continually count on him as he has signed a social contract with them.
