The new president of CAMASEJ – NW, Ndi Tsembom Elvis will not only continue from where his predecessor left, but has promised to maintain and why not raise standards in the profession.
Ndi Tsembom Elvis is taking over a chapter that has recently made great professional strides with the leadership of Ambe MacMillan Awa.
Speaking shortly after his election Friday, November 13, 2020, Ndi Tsembom Elvis acknowledged the heavy task placed on him but was confident in achieving more for the chapter through fruitful collaboration and understanding especially among members.
His mandate (two years) will focus on empowering the chapter members professionally and otherwise.
“We are going to set up an ethics committee to ensure that we have a change of behavior on the field when it comes to practice” he said.
The new CAMASEJ – NW chapter president has an option to help curb down the rush for “Gombo”.
“We will also try as much as possible to ensure that members who are practicing here in the region can have an alternative source of income” Ndi Tsembom Elvis told reporters.
To the former NW chapter president of CAMASEJ, Ambe MacMillan Awa, Ndi Tsembom Elvis is the right person at the right place and for the right mission owing to his rich experience from the outgoing bureau where he served as Financial Secretary.
