Barely hours after Barrister Balla boycotted UB’s invitation before a Disciplinary Panel for allegedly failing to comply to professional obligations while setting first semester examination questions for the course Political and Constitutional History of Cameroon (LAW243), the University of Buea has reacted, shown him the door.

See below feedback from the University of Buea Registrar:

Nkongho Felix Agbor Balla has been officially dismissed from the University of Buea, as an INSTRUCTOR.

His public showmanship with a document widely circulating in the social media seeking cheap publicity is inconsequential, therewith citing texts that do not pertain to him.

INSTRUCTORS, known in French as ‘MONITORS’ are not personel of the Ministry of Higher Education; and neither recognized by the Ministry of Public Service or the Ministry of Finance.

Mr Nkongho Felix Agbor Balla does not have a matricule number, hence, not a formal employee of the State. He is likeable to a PTA teacher in Basic Education.

As an INSTRUCTOR he was hired in 2015 for a two year contract renewable twice. His contract was never renewed. However, the University of Buea in it’s magnanimity extended to him a verbal gentleman collaboration, which he finally abused by intoxicating 17 and 18 year old Students on his political showmanship, in a course seemingly unqualified to teach on “Political & Constitutional History of Cameroon”.

Being invited to a Disciplinary Panel, was a privilege, UB accorded on humanitarian grounds, since he had ran out of contract.

The University of Buea, no longer recognizes him as an INSTRUCTOR. It is also important to note that Mr Nkongho Felix Agbor Balla registered since 2015 as a PhD student. He has failed all his exams and abandoned the programme. Based on the University regulations, he has lost his student status.

As of date, the University of Buea does not have any formal relationship with Mr Nkongho Felix Agbor Balla, and anyone dealing with him is do so at his or her own risks.

If he was just a monitor an instructor, why did you guys convocated him to your disciplinary council. You should have just sacked him especially when there is no formal contract between the University and Agbor Balla. So you guys are faulty and irresponsible. Gangs of thieves influenced by Etoudi

This further shows how incompetent the administration is. An institution of that standard doesn’t respect her employees neither value them. Meaning the education there is a hoax.
    Non-procedural management. It’s a shame.
