2019/2020 Elite One Champions of Cameroon, PWD of Bamenda, have received some football training support material from North West Elite, Madam Mbah Acha Rose Formundam.
The materials handed over to the president of PWD Bamenda comprised of balls, Jerseys and training kits, are expected to boost the morals of the team management and players as they prepare for next football season.
The North West Club were recently announced champions of the 2019/2020 football season that ended prematurely as a fallout of the COVID-19.
PWD Bamenda president, Pascal Abunde who received the gifts on behalf of the team, said they’re not only timely, but fall in line with the expectations of the club, given that the team is expected to resume training ahead of the 2020/2021 football season.
” Looking at the quality of the materials tht have been offered, it shows us the interest that the donor has not only for this club, but in football generally, … so we are very very satisfied and we are very very happy for this wonderful gesture”
The donor, on the occasion did not hide her feelings as she made more promises;
Mrs. Mbah Acha Rose Formundam said, “… I am equally encouraging you, and whenever you have some difficulties or you feel disappointed, remember that you have support back home… congratulations and go ahead”
The Elite one champions are more than determined to resume next football season and management is leaving no stone unturned.
The club “Abakwa Boys” hav recently gained favour from their fans, with many similar gestures in the pipeline.
The handing over ceremony took place Wednesday June 3rd in Yaounde.
