From the weekly meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Committee in charge of evaluatiing and monitoring the implementation of Government’s strategy against COVID-19 Pandemic in Cameroon, which held Thursday July 16, 2020, the following statistics were presented:
– 16,157 positive cases,
– 13,728 patients declared healed,
– 737 deaths,
– Recovery rate: 85%,
– Case-fatality rate: 2.3%
– No. of Screening test carried: 135,000,
– No. of Antigens tests: 740,000
The Prime Minister and Head of Government, Chief Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute who chaired the meeting encouraged all and sundry to mobilse in the fight against COVID-19 Pandemic and it’s socio-economic impact.
